Suffering Setbacks: Feb. 24
Oklahoma State received a bit of bad news this week, as it will be without talented junior shortstop Donnie Walton for the next four-to-six weeks because of a fractured hamate bone.
Walton started the Cowboys’ season opener against Arizona State, but hit his hand during a swing in his third at-bat in the contest. The Cowboys have since been playing without the talented shortstop, and despite missing him against the Sun Devils in a tough series loss, rebounded over the weekend in the Big 12-Pac-12 Challenge.
