Unlike big-time stars in a couple of other sports, college baseball players are generally pretty down to earth and easily pleased.

Sometimes, all it takes is a little pizza.

Apparently, that has been the key to success for Cal State Fullerton’s resurgence after a slow start the first two weeks of the season. After starting 2-5 and amassing just 45 hits in the first seven games, head coach Rick Vanderhook tried a different approach to break his team out of its slump.
