As a new coach in this program, what’s your feeling about this team going into the season?

I think the strength of this club is based on the past and the arms we’re going to be able to throw out there against teams. The general impression I have is that I’ve never seen this team compete against other teams, so I will have a better idea of where they stand once they play against another team. I’m really looking forward to how we handle adversity, collectively as a group, with one common goal in mind, as opposed to individual things.[…]
