Buzzworthy: Missouri’s Houck Passes Big Test

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — Missouri has a star in the making in freshman righthander Tanner Houck.

There’d been a lot of hoopla about Houck the past couple of weeks. Those who had seen him were buzzing about his stuff and future potential, and earlier this week, we featured Houck in our Weekend Preview. To say the least, we were excited to see what Houck brought to the table Saturday afternoon against Texas A&M. And as we suspected after talking with Missouri head coach Tim Jamieson for that preview feature, Houck was very impressive. That’s even without his best stuff.
