RALEIGH, N.C. — On a gloomy afternoon in Raleigh, I had a chance to catch an intriguing pitching matchup between a pair of talented sophomore righthanders. Pittsburgh’s T.J. Zeuch entered Friday’s game against N.C. State with a 1.93 ERA and a sterling 47-7 strikeout-walk mark in 37.1 innings. NC State countered with hard-throwing righty Cory Wilder, who has live stuff but has battled control issues this spring, walking 21 and striking out 28 through 24.2 innings entering Friday.
