One of the nation’s elite hitters from last season, first baseman Nick Pappas, has left the College of Charleston program for personal reasons, as first reported by Andrew Miller of the Charleston Post and Courier.
Helping Charleston to a 45-15 season and Colonial Athletic Association championship last season, Pappas was set to enter his junior season as one of college baseball’s top first baseman prospects with a physical frame, great raw power and an approach that was more consistent during his monster 2015 campaign.[…]
