Pintard, Pickler Grow Their Summer Legends

On Saturday, two giants of college summer ball achieved monumental career milestones within a few hours of each other. First, long-time Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox coach Scott Pickler led his team to a 3-0 win against Falmouth, making Pickler the only coach ever to win six Cape League championships, and making Y-D the first team to three-peat as champs since Cotuit won four straight from 1972-75. Pickler and the Red Sox have owned this century, winning six titles since 2004.
