If you are into pain, this was your kind of week in college baseball. Not even the blue bloods of our sport can be spared. The top 10 of the D1baseball.com rankings went a scant 23-17 on the week. That’s pretty bad. But take away the midweek games and they went a combined 14-16 from Thursday to Sunday. That’s not a cut, that’s a gash. No mere band aid will fix that.
And the carnage started right at the top. Here we go with the pain train.
