The Big Winner: Vanderbilt
The Commodores dropped a tough home series to Florida last weekend, and to keep track in the national seed mix, they really needed to take a midweek contest against Louisville on the road. Well, the ‘Dores did just that Tuesday night, beating the Cards 5-2 with starting pitcher Ryan Johnson striking out three, not walking anyone and allowing just two runs (one earned) on four hits in 5.1 innings.
